Which outdated technology do you miss the most, and why?
The ‘Abacus’ was one of the most convenient and durable Calculators of our time. No issues with malfunctioning LED screens or issues with failing battery life just when you needed the device the most. Although, after around 50 year;s of constant use some of the wooden joints needed a bit of maintenance and the multi-coloured wooden counting beads may have needed a new paint job 😂
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
The advice I would give to my teenage self would be to enjoy every single moment of it, for it gets drastically worse over the following 50 years 😉
What is a word you feel that too many people use?
It isn’t so much a single word that too many use but more about words that they do not pronounce correctly for some strange reason ? This applies just to my observations of people who are from the UK ( I am from the UK myself by the way). It appears to be quite a modern day thing but, a lot of people these days just do not appear to be able to pronounce words that commence with the letters ‘th’, for example: free (three), fink (think), frew (threw, or through), fort (thought) etc. etc. It isn’t a regional thing either and neither it is confined to just the younger element of British society so it makes me wonder about the quality of the teacher’s in schools who should surely be correcting this 🤷♂️
What gives you direction in life?
A Moral Compass – Treat other’s the way you yourself would wish to be treated. There is far too much lack of compassion and empathy for other’s in our world today, intolerance of other’s ethnicity, skin colour, cultures, beliefs and opinions and a habit of pre-judging things or before getting to know other’s.

Vegetables, Fruit, Assortment of Legumes, Assortment of Pastas, Assortment of Rice. From these basic ‘Plant Based’ nutritional items you can make a whole host of flavoursome and healthy meals whilst getting all of your nutritional daily needs. Fish and ‘Lean’ Fresh Meats (Not Processed Meats) can be added.
Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
Do not waste your life worrying about things that you can neither influence or change, spend it on more useful things in your life that you do have the ability to influence or change, you will feel much more satisfaction for having done so 😉
What are your feelings about eating meat?
We gave up eating meat some 5 years ago now and have chosen to eat a more ‘Plant Based/ menu. Unfortunately with all the ‘Food Fraud’ that goes on theses days you really do not know just what you are eating, which is a concern and possibly even potentially dangerous. We feel there is too much land being used to grow crops purely for the purpose of feeding cattle. We are not Vegans and our choice to go plant based is more for health reasons.
